Looking back to October 2017, the date when we started working back in South Africa, it's been four years that have flow past so quickly, and not without incident.
We left South Africa in 1997, travelling and gaining vast amounts of knowledge and experience in the field Callie specialise in, including a Hip and Knee Fellowship at the elite University of Washington in Seattle for 2 years. Our focus was on Hip and Knee replacements, Revisions, and Hip preserving surgery.
After 20 years abroad, and completing a high volume of Hip and Knee Surgeries, we are so blessed to be back in South Africa to share these expertise in our home town on the West Coast of Cape Town.
As we all know, not that long ago, Covid arrived and we were all restricted to limited movement and a very new lifestyles. We took the time to re evaluate our direction for our speciality and decided to personalise our interaction with our patients via a fresh new look website and a more interactive social presence. Here at Dr Ackermann's practice we believe that you, the patient, always comes first and you need to take charge of your own health and decision making, especially when it comes to surgeries.
This of course, along with the wonderful guidance of Dr Ackermann. We purchased the brand new Rosa System to assist you with a more streamlined surgery and a much faster recovery.
